Kyle played midfield and faced off for the Ospreys from 2008 – 2012 and served as team captain in 2009 and 2010. In 2010, Kyle helped lead UNF to their first MCLA SELC Division II playoff berth where they played Kennesaw State in Johns Creek, Georgia. During his time at UNF, he was also involved in Student Senate and held the Office of Budget and Allocations Committee Chairman from 2009 – 2010. After graduating in 2012, he lived in Chicago, Illinois for six years where he coached both Lincoln Park and Hinsdale Central High School Lacrosse Teams. He obtained his MBA from the University of Illinois in 2020 and now resides in San Diego, California with his wife, Jessica, and works for Gartner, a global research and advisory services company.
Stephen played for the Ospreys from 2007-2011, a three-year defensive starter, he also served as the team’s treasurer for two years. A member of the first team to earn an MCLA SELC Division II playoff berth, two of his favorite memories are the team’s first-ever SELC win versus the University of Miami by a single Brandon Oakes goal in overtime and scoring a goal himself as a defender off a quintuple-bounce shot against Kennesaw in one of his final games. After graduating with a degree in Sports Management, Stephen has opened and run a handful of successful small businesses including an independent IT Consulting firm and a historic Jazz and Blues Bar and Music Venue. He now works as a Sr IT Infrastructure Project Manager for Baptist Health here in Jacksonville Fl and plays Semi-Pro Football.
Michael played for the Ospreys from 2015-2018. After his first year with the program, Michael served as the team's president for the following two years, where he played a huge roll in getting the team back into the MCLA SELC Division II in 2018 after the team dropped our a few years prior. Before attending UNF, Michael played his freshman season at Adams State University, an NCAA D-II school located in southern Colorado, where he became the starting defensive midfielder. During His time at UNF Michael created/managed all of the teams social media accounts and built the teams website. After Graduating with a degree in graphic design during the spring of 2019, Michael currently works at Trailer Bridge, a shipping and logistics company headquartered here in Jacksonville, as their senior graphic designer.
Stan played for the Ospreys from 2013-2015 and after a knee injury in 2015, joined the coaching staff. Stan has been a member of the coaching staff since the 2015 season. In the off-season leading up to the 2020 season, he was promoted to Head Coach of the UNF program. Unfortunately, the season was cancelled due to Covid 19 restrictions. Stan has been coaching in the area for years including coaching as an assistant at Sandalwood, his alma mater. He also recently had a 5 year stint at The Providence School, where he spent his time bouncing up and down between the middle school program and the JV level. He graduated with a Bachelors in Criminal Justice in 2016, but is currently working at Future Home Loans, a local Veteran Owned and Operated Mortgage company based out of Jacksonville Beach. Stan is excited for the opportunity to get out on the field and get the ball spinning again with boys.
A North Florida native, started playing lacrosse in 2004 and attended Nease High School in St. Augustine. Graduated Nease High School before heading to Florida State University and transferring in 2010 to UNF. Graduated from University of North Florida in Spring 2015 with a Bachelor’s in Psychology and a Minor in Business Administration. During his time as an Osprey he played Attack for the 2012-2015 seasons.
Once graduating he was hired by ThompsonBaker Agency Inc., an independent insurance agency in downtown St. Augustine where he works as a Commercial Insurance Account Manager. Davis is a member of Florida Association of Insurance Agents, FAIA’s Young Agents Council, and a Council board member of St. Johns County Chamber of Commerce’s Small Business Council. He continues to give back to the lacrosse community in St. Johns County, where he was an Assistant Head Coach at Pedro Menendez High School for 8 years, as an Assistant Coach for St. Johns County PAL, and is a member of the Jacksonville Armadillos club.
Mitchell played goalie for the Ospreys from 2015-2017 . While in school he was the assistant coach at Stanton College Prep. After graduation he went on to help create the Premier Lacrosse League in there first year working as an Account Executive for them in 2019 during there inaugural season. After that season he went onto work for the Detroit Tigers as an Account Executive in there Group Sales department in 2020. He currently lives in Jacksonville Florida working at the Jacksonville Jaguars as a group sales account manager. He is currently the defensive coordinator for the team.His favorite memory as a player was when the team went down to South Florida and beat Miami and FAU in the same weekend and his favorite memory as a coach was winning the 2019 SELC tournament.
